Cutler Basin Trail is a moderate hike of about 5.8 miles in the Ogden Ranger District of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is an out-and-back that gains about 2,140 feet in elevation, from a low of about 6,036 feet to a high of about 8,189 feet. The trail starts at the lower end of the route and climbs steadily to the basin, with the most significant gain in the middle of the hike. The Ben Lomond Trail and the Skyline North Trail both begin within about a third of a mile of the Cutler Basin Trail, making it easy to pair them on a single outing. For more time on foot, Cold Water Canyon lies about 1.5 miles away. Climbers can head to the North Ogden climbing area, roughly 4.8 miles off.
