Adams is a short, easy hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the St. George Field Office, about 0.13 miles from the start. It's a quick out-and-back, with a total round-trip distance of about 0.26 miles and a climb of just 13 feet one way, so it works well as a stop on the way to other trails in the area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby La Verkin weather station show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 76°F, while July averages near 98°F. Several other hikes sit right next door. White Reef and Cordura are each about 0.1 mile away, and Grubstake is about 0.2 mile off. For an overnight stay, Red Cliffs Campground is about 0.7 mile away.
