Abilene Way is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Utah, about half a mile from the town of Silver Springs. The route is nearly flat, with a total climb of about 40 feet from the start to the high point at 6,464 feet, and it takes roughly half an hour to complete. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Park City show July highs around 80°F with lows near 53°F, while winter highs stay around freezing. The East 224 Trail and Cutter Lane both lie within a third of a mile, and the Wasatch Back climbing area is about 1.5 miles away. White Pine Lake, a fishing spot, is roughly 3.7 miles off.
