1000 Turns is an easy out-and-back hike in Wasatch Mountain State Park in Utah, managed by State Park and Recreation. The route is about 3.3 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 436 feet, and it rises from a low point of 5,889 feet to a high of 6,371 feet. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June and September. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Snake Creek Powerhouse show June highs around 78°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 88°F. The trail sits close to several other outings. New Boneyard and Flatline are both within a quarter mile, Rock Creek offers canoeing about a mile away, and Jordanelle State Park McHenry Campground is roughly 4 miles off.
