Henrys Fork is a river fishing spot in Utah's Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, within the Evanston-Mountain View Ranger District. It is part of the Henrys Fork drainage, and the Forest Service manages the surrounding land. Summer is the most comfortable time to fish here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Moon Lake show July and August highs around 77°F with lows near 48°F, and the station sits about 1,300 feet lower than the fork, so temperatures at the river run cooler. Several peaks sit right beside the fork, including Painter Peak, Gunsight Peak and South Kings Peak, each about 0.1 mile away. For an overnight stay, China Meadows campground is about 4 miles off, and China Lake offers more fishing at a similar distance.
