The Fremont River Ranger District is a unit of Fishlake National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. It is a district rather than a single trail or peak, so it works as a base for exploring the surrounding forest, with several trails and campgrounds within a few miles. The district is not a place you reserve a spot at. It is a land unit that holds a network of trails and dispersed camping, and the Great Western Trail passes through it. Jahu Flat and Neff's Reservoir are both within about a mile and a half, and Elkhorn Campground is about 2 miles away.
