Spring Hill is a Forest Service dispersed camping site in the Sanpete Ranger District of Manti-La Sal National Forest in Utah, about 18 miles from the town of Salina. It sits along Twelve Mile Canyon Road, with two camping areas on either side of the road: one next to the ponds on the north and one on the south. The site is undeveloped, but vault toilets are on site. There is no fee to camp here. The two areas are close together, and both are near water and within Aspen stands, making them a practical base for exploring the surrounding canyon country. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 53°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. That station sits about 1,500 feet lower than the site, so temperatures at Spring Hill run cooler. Nearby options include the Dinner Creek and Black Mountain hikes, both within about 2.5 miles, and Twin Lake Campground at 2.8 miles. Twelve Mile Flat is about 4.7 miles away.
