Kents Lake Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Beaver Ranger District of Fishlake National Forest in Utah, about 50 miles from the town of Beaver. It sits on the edge of Kents Lake, a 50-acre body of water that works for small fishing boats and canoes. The campground has 28 single-family campsites and 2 multiple-family campsites, with sites ranging from back-in to pull-throughs. All units have grills or fire rings and tables, and trailers up to 30 feet long can fit. A campground host is usually on hand, and an old rock building can be used for programs or shelter. Vault toilets are the on-site sanitation. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 52°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days. Brown, brook tiger and rainbow trout are catchable from the lake, and the surrounding area offers hunting, hiking and spectacular scenery. Winter brings ice fishing and snowmobiling. Trail 3625, a mountain biking route, is less than a mile away, and Little Reservoir Campground is about 2.3 miles off. Climbers can head to Beaver Canyon, roughly 3 miles away.
