Left of The Bow is a bouldering area in Texas, about half a mile from the town of Beckmann. It sits alongside the Fiesta Wall and the Right of The Bow, which are both climbing areas just 0.1 mile away, so the three make an easy cluster to visit together. The climbing here is all bouldering, with nine routes spread across the area. The grades run from V0 to V4, with most of the routes sitting at V0 or V1. Among the named routes are Baby Steps Left and The Beholder at V0, Chimera at V1, and Dish Digger at V4. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in San Antonio show April highs around 80°F and October highs around 82°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s.
