Lake Palo Duro is a bouldering area in Texas, about 6 miles from the town of Kimball. It sits close to two other climbing areas: The Choss Boulder, roughly 0.6 miles away, and the Bike Trail Area, about 0.4 miles away, which makes it easy to link a visit to more than one spot. The climbing here is all bouldering, with four routes listed. The easiest are Avoiding the Chop and 120 minutes, both V3, while Unbalanced is the hardest at V5. The boulders fall within a V3 to V5 range on the V scale. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
