The Fourth Water Crossing Boulders is a bouldering area within Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Texas, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among the park's climbing spots, and the CCC Trail passes about 0.7 miles away. The boulders hold six routes, all rated on the V scale and ranging from V0-1 to V4. The easiest are Left Route and Overhang Right, both V0, while The Roof is the hardest at V4. The routes are all boulders, so there is no climbing on rope here. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Canyon, Texas, show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 74°F, while July averages about 93°F. Other climbing in the park includes Palo Duro Canyon State Park and Horseshoe Cliff, both within about 2 miles. The CCC Trail and Upper Comanche are the closest hikes.
