Camp Jordan is a city-managed park in Tennessee, about 2 miles from East Ridge. Its own trail, the Camp Jordan Perimeter Nature Trail, starts about a third of a mile away. The most comfortable visits tend to come in spring and fall. October averages highs around 74°F and lows near 51°F at a nearby weather station, and April runs similar. Summer is hotter, with typical July and August highs near 90°F. Close by, the Chickamauga Loop and Little Owl Village are each under a mile off.
