It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots and hiking trails, making it an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding forest. The area has 11 traditional routes, with grades ranging from 5.8 to 5.11b. Among them are End of the Road (5.8) and The Ramp (5.8), both first ascents from the 1980s, and Special Olympics (5.11b), a harder option for experienced climbers. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 72°F with lows near 50°F, while July and August average highs of 88°F.
