Highball Area is a climbing area in Tennessee, about 0.7 miles from the community of Pleasant Valley. It sits among a cluster of climbing and paddling spots, with Blue Hole Falls just 1.5 miles away and Shaky Knees Boulder about 10 miles off. The area holds six climbing routes, including two boulders, two sports climbs and a mixed and a trad route. The sport routes run from about 5.7 to 5.9, and the boulders sit around V2-3. Wash Board is a mixed climb at 5.6, and Feeding the Spyders is a sport route at 5.9. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bristol show October highs around 70°F with lows near 44°F, and May highs around 77°F.
