Lakeshore Loop is a short, easy loop in Harrison Bay State Park in Tennessee, managed by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The trail is half a mile long, with a low point of 685 feet and a high of 742 feet, and it gains about 40 feet of elevation. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.21 miles in, with an 8% grade. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Chattanooga show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar at about 74°F by day and 50°F at night. July and August average highs near 90°F. The Star Walk Trail starts just 0.2 miles away, and the Bay Point Loop Trail and Island Loop Trail are within a mile. For climbing, the Riverfront area is about 7 miles off.
