Surfside Beach: 14 North is a public beach access point in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, managed by the Town of Surfside Beach and located about a mile from the center of town. The access has parking, making it a straightforward place to pull in and walk onto the sand. For comfortable beach weather, late spring and early fall are good bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Brookgreen Gardens put May highs around 80°F and September highs around 83°F, while July and August climb into the upper 80s. Several short trails lie close by if you want a break from the shore.
