Patterson State Park is a 19-acre state park in Pennsylvania, managed by the state park agency and located about 5.4 miles from the town of Sweden Valley. It is a small, compact unit of public land, and its main draw is its position along a cluster of trails. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical July highs reach about 78°F with lows near 55°F, according to averages from a nearby weather station at Coudersport, about 5 miles away. Winters there are cold, with January highs around 30°F. The Susquehannock Trail passes just 0.1 mile away, and the Sidewinder and Berger trails both lie within about a mile and a half.
