Lehigh Gorge State Park is a 14,846-acre state park in Pennsylvania, about 1.5 miles from the town of Jim Thorpe. It is managed by the state park agency. Late spring through early fall is the most comfortable stretch for a visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Lehighton show September highs around 73°F with lows near 53°F, while July highs reach about 82°F. Several trails and a climbing area sit within a mile of the park. Gorgeous Rocks, a climbing area, is about half a mile away, and the Glen Onoko Trail and Packer's Point Trail are both within a mile. The Blue Trail is about 1.4 miles off.
