Kettle Creek State Park is a 2,066-acre state park in north-central Pennsylvania, about 9 miles from the town of Renovo. It is managed by the state park agency, and the park holds two campgrounds, making it a base for overnight stays as well as day visits. Late spring through early fall is the most comfortable stretch for a visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 82°F. Several trails start close by. Wallow Loop is just 0.1 mile away, and the Kettle Creek Equestrian Trail is about a mile off. Left Branch Trail and Chicken Farm Trail are both within 2 miles. For fishing, Kettle Creek offers river access about 4 miles away.
