Hyner Run State Park

Hyner Run State Park is a 186-acre state park in north-central Pennsylvania, about 1.7 miles from the small community of Hyner. It is managed by the state park agency, and it serves as a compact base for exploring the network of trails that branch out from the surrounding area. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Renovo, about 6 miles away, show July highs near 83°F and September highs around 75°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay in the 30s. Several hiking trails start close to the park. Flat Ridge Trail and Long Fork Trail are both within a mile, and Hyner View Trail is about 2.3 miles away. Paddlers can head roughly 4.8 miles to Young Womans Creek.
