f. Big Wall is a sport climbing area in Pennsylvania, about 0.2 miles from the community of Trap Rock. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Birdsboro Quarry, n. Beer Wall (Reservoir Level) and d. Zorro Wall all within about a tenth of a mile. The area holds 20 sport routes, with grades ranging from 5.9 up to 5.14. The median grade is 5.12a. Among the named routes are Flippin' the Bird at 5.13a and Romania at 5.14, the latter a first ascent by John Ene in 2006. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 72°F in May to 76°F in September, with July peaking near 85°F. Hikers can find the Horse-Shoe Trail about 1.6 miles away and the Six Penny Trail about 2.5 miles away. Paddlers can reach the Schuylkill River Water Trail roughly 6.5 miles off.
