White Trail is a short mountain biking route in the Wissahickon Valley of Pennsylvania, on county land. It's a compact ride, about a quarter mile from start to finish, and the entire trip is roughly half a mile with a total climb of about 230 feet, which makes it a moderate outing. The route is an out-and-back. It rises from a low point of about 150 feet to a high of around 257 feet, and the steepest stretch comes early on, about 70 yards from the start, where the grade reaches about 11 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Norristown run from highs around 75°F in May to about 80°F in September, while July highs average near 89°F. Climbers and riders have plenty to pair with the trail. The Cleaver Boulder and Dueling Snakes Wall climbing areas are each about 0.4 miles away, and the Orange Trail is a similar distance. The Wissahickon Ski Club is about 3 miles off.
