Orange Trail is a mountain biking route in the Wissahickon Valley on county land in Pennsylvania, about 6.5 miles from Norristown. It is a short, flat ride, with the high and low points of the route sitting at about 124 and 120 feet, so there is no elevation gain to speak of. The trail is rated hard, which makes it a challenge despite its lack of climbing. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Norristown weather station show May highs around 75°F and September highs around 80°F, with July peaking near 89°F. The Yellow Trail and White Trail both lie about 0.3 miles away. Climbers can find Dueling Snakes Wall and Cleaver Boulder about 0.8 miles off, and the Wissahickon Ski Club is roughly 2.8 miles away.
