Harlan Rock Quarry is a climbing area in Oregon's Siuslaw National Forest, within the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA. The Forest Service manages the land. The quarry's five sport routes range from about 5.7 to 5.11a, with the Bolted Crack Route and Route 4 at 5.8 and 5.10b. Kevin Pogue is listed as the first ascender for several of them. Summer is the most settled time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs in the mid-70s with only four or five wet days a month, while winter months see highs in the mid-40s and about 20 wet days. Big Elk Campground sits about 0.4 miles away, and Big Elk Creek is roughly 0.9 miles off.
