Greensprings is a climbing area in Oregon's Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. It sits within the monument's network of trails and waterways, close to several other outdoor destinations. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb here. Typical averages from the nearby Howard Prairie Dam weather station show July and August highs around 79°F with only two or three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and several snowy days each month from December through February. The area has 13 climbing routes, a mix of sport and trad styles, with grades ranging from 5.6 to 5.11. Six Cheetahs is a sport route at 5.10c, and Mexican Summer is a sport route at 5.11. Marge Simpson's Backside is a trad route at 5.6. The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail passes about a mile away, Keene Creek offers canoeing at roughly 2 miles, and Hyatt Lake Recreation Area has camping about 3 miles off. Aqua Wall is a climbing area about 6.5 miles away.
