Wilson River Wagon Road Trail is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Oregon, set on state land managed by the State Land Board within the Forest Development Fund (Board of Forestry) unit. The trail is about 2.3 miles long, with a low point of 1,725 feet and a high of 1,827 feet, making it a gentle climb of about 138 feet one way. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Vernonia show July and August highs around 77 to 78°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days a month. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Several other routes and paddling waters lie close by. Horseshoe Trail is about 0.4 miles away, and Side Step Trail is about 0.8 miles away. The South Fork Wilson River, a canoeing route, is about 1.3 miles off, and the Wilson River itself is about 3.2 miles away.
