The Santiam Wagon Road Trail #3413 is a mountain biking route in Oregon's Willamette National Forest, within the Sweet Home Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land. It is an out-and-back ride of about 13 miles, with a low point at 1,755 feet and a high point of 4,086 feet. The trail climbs more than 5,700 feet over the round trip. The route is rated easy, and the climb is spread out along the way. The steepest section comes at about 5.6 miles in, with a grade of 28 percent. That makes the trip a steady, sustained effort rather than a short, sharp push. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Santiam Junction, about 10 miles away, run to highs of 76°F in July and August, with lows around 42°F. Iron Mountain and Cone Peak are both hikes within half a mile of the trail, and Sevenmile Creek offers canoeing about 2 miles away. For an overnight stay, Lost Prairie campground sits about 4 miles off.
