Rat Pack Trail is a 2.67-mile moderate hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Medford Butte Falls Field Office in southern Oregon. The trail is an out-and-back with a total round-trip distance of about 5.3 miles, and it rises from a starting point at roughly 1,518 feet to a high point of about 2,021 feet, with a total elevation gain of about 1,386 feet over the course of the trip. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ruch, Oregon, run to highs around 75°F in May and 72°F in October, while July and August average highs in the low 90s. The trail makes an easy pairing with other short hikes in the area. Pay Dirt Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and Breakdown Trail and Darkside Trail are each within half a mile. The Rogue River Greenway Trail lies about 6.4 miles off.
