Davis Lake Run is an easy out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 4.2 miles long, with a one-way climb of 204 feet from a low point of 4,486 feet to a high of 4,603 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.09 miles from the start, with a grade of 6 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Wickiup Dam weather station show July highs around 83°F with lows near 47°F and only about three wet days, while winter highs sit in the low 40s. North Davis Creek campground is about 2.2 miles away, and Upper Moore Creek is about 2.6 miles off. Sheep Bridge and South Twin Lake campgrounds are both about 3.3 miles away.
