Odell Lake is a fishing lake in Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, within the Crescent Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the lake sits about 1.3 miles from Princess Creek Campground, the closest of several campgrounds and Nordic ski areas in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Odell Lake-East show July and August highs around 73 to 74°F with only about three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days from December through February. Princess Creek Campground and Sunset Cove Campground are both within about 1.6 miles, and Powerline Nordic and Sunset Cove Nordic offer cross-country skiing about 1.4 to 2.1 miles away.
