Stillwater Campground is a Bureau of Land Management campground in Oregon, within the Prineville Deschutes Field Office. It sits on public land managed by the BLM, and the nearest town is Prineville, about 11 miles away. Vault toilets are the only facility on site. The campground is not reservable, and fees are $8 per night, with an extra $2 for each additional vehicle, up to a maximum of two vehicles per site. Tow vehicles are excluded from the extra charge. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Prineville weather station show May highs around 69°F and September highs near 79°F, while July and August average in the mid-80s.
