Riveredge Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA of Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon. It sits within the forest's recreation sites network, and the land is managed by the Forest Service. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. The amenities are simple, so plan on the basics rather than full services. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Alsea show July and August highs around 75 to 76°F with only four or five wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on 20 or more days. Blackberry campground and boating is about 1.7 miles away, and River Edge campground is about 2.1 miles off. Paddlers can head to Scott Creek, about 2.2 miles away, and hikers to Horse Creek Trail South, about 6.8 miles away.
