McNeil Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Zigzag Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. It sits within the national forest's recreation sites, and the Forest Service manages the land. The site is simple, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity. A fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with only about two wet days, while winter months bring highs in the upper 30s and rain on roughly half the days. The Sandy River Trail #770 starts just 0.2 miles away, and Riley Horse Campground is 0.3 miles off. French's Dome, a climbing area, is about a mile away, and Clear Creek offers canoeing at 1.8 miles.
