Eightmile is a Forest Service campground in the Barlow Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. It sits within the national forest's recreation sites, and the land is managed by the Forest Service. The site is simple, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity. A fee is charged for use. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. The Eightmile Loop hike starts just 0.1 mile away, and Pebble Ford campground is about half a mile off. The Eightmile Interpretive hike and Lower Eight Mile Crossing campground are both within a mile.
