North Trail is a short, easy loop hike in Ohio, about a mile from the town of Lebanon. The trail is a flat, low-elevation route, with a one-way climb of about 44 feet and a total round-trip gain of about 88 feet. It starts at roughly 839 feet and reaches a high point of about 867 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 0.54 miles in, where the grade reaches about 3%. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Franklin put May highs around 74°F and September highs around 79°F, with July peaking near 86°F. The Yellow Trail and South Trail both start about 0.1 mile away, so it's easy to link them together. Farther out, the Buckeye Trail (Caesar Creek) lies about 6 miles off, and Caesar Creek Lake is about 8 miles away.
