Hollowpoint Trail is a 6.3-mile out-and-back hike in Ohio, about 2.3 miles from the town of Sugar Creek. The route rises from 751 feet to 862 feet, with a total elevation gain of 221 feet, and the steepest stretch comes early on, at about 0.2 miles in, where the grade reaches 12 percent. The trail is rated moderate. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Athens put May highs around 72°F and September highs around 76°F, with September seeing the fewest wet days of the year. The Thunderbunny Trail, a mountain biking route, starts just 0.1 mile away. The Blackhaw Accessible Trail and Vista Point Trail are both about 0.7 mile off.
