Buckeye Trail (Loveland) is a 13-mile point-to-point hike in Ohio, starting in Milford, about half a mile from the town center. The trail rises from roughly 600 feet to about 820 feet, with a total elevation gain of 586 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 12.6 miles in, where the grade reaches 7%. The route is rated hard, and it is not open to bikes or horses. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Milford show May highs around 76°F and September highs near 79°F, while July averages climb to about 87°F. The hike takes about 4.5 hours. Several other trails sit close by, including the Inner Loop, the Terrell River Trail and the Buckeye Trail (Williamsburg), all within a mile. The Milford Urban Trail System is about 0.9 miles away.
