North End Boulderfield is a bouldering area in North Carolina, about 1.5 miles from the community of Moores Springs. The closest climbing spots sit right beside it: Plafond Boulder and White Monster Boulder are each about 0.1 mile away, and The Valley Boulderfield is about 0.3 mile off. The area is a cluster of boulders rather than a single climb, and the routes run from the V3-4 range up to V10. Orange Crush, the hardest of the six listed, is V10, while Orange Crush Stand sits at V6. Fall and spring are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Danbury, NC, run to highs around 70°F in April and October, with summer highs in the upper 80s. The station sits roughly 750 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. For a walk, Moores Wall Loop Trail is about 0.9 mile away, and Indian Creek Trail is a similar distance. Paddlers can reach the Little Yadkin River about 9 miles off.
