Tripp Farm is a mountain biking spot in North Carolina, about half a mile from Spring Valley. It's a short ride from town, and the route is flat, with no elevation gain to speak of, so it works well as a quick stop or a warm-up before heading out on a longer outing. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Chapel Hill show October highs around 72°F with lows near 50°F, and April is similar at about 72°F by day and 48°F at night. July is the hottest month, with highs near 90°F. Several other trails sit close by. The Lowlands Loop and the Nature Observation Trail are both within a quarter mile, and the Occoneechee Loop is about half a mile away.
