This public beach access point on Bald Head Island, North Carolina, sits directly across from Wild Bean Court, where it meets the north end of Brown Pelican Trail off South Bald Head Wynd. It is about a mile from the community of Bald Head Island. The access has parking, and there is no fee to use it. For comfortable beach weather, late spring and early fall work well. May and October bring typical highs around 79 to 83°F, according to averages from a nearby weather station at Southport. July is the hottest month, with highs typically near 92°F.
