Trail C is a short cross-country ski route in Palisades Park, on Regional Agency Land in New York, about 0.13 miles from the park's center. The out-and-back trip is just 0.26 miles long, with a total climb of 19 feet from a low point of 411 feet to a high of 446 feet. The route is flat, so it works well as a quick warm-up or a break between longer ski outings. Winter is the natural season for this trail. Typical averages from the nearby Dobbs Ferry-Ardsley weather station show January highs around 40°F with lows near 23°F, and February is similar at about 43°F and 25°F. That station sits about 250 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the route run a little cooler. Trail E is just 0.1 mile away, and Trail D is about 0.3 mile off. Across the state line in New Jersey, the Long Path; Ski Trail E hike is about 0.3 mile away. For climbing, Orange Hill Bouldering is roughly a mile from the trail.
