Trail B is a short cross-country skiing route in Palisades Park in New York, on regional agency land. It is an out-and-back with a total length of about half a mile and a total elevation gain and loss of about 15 feet, making it a nearly flat, low-impact outing. The high point is 528 feet, and the route turns around within a quarter mile of the starting point. Winter is the natural season for this route. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Dobbs Ferry run from highs around 40°F and lows near 23°F in January to highs around 43°F in February. The station sits about 330 feet below the trail, so temperatures on the higher ground may run slightly cooler. Trail A is about a tenth of a mile away, and the Long Path's Ski Trail A is a similar distance. For climbing, Orange Hill Bouldering is roughly 1.6 miles away and Tallman Mountain about 3 miles.
