Roanoke Point Boulder is a bouldering area on the Peconic Land Trust Lands in New York, managed by a non-governmental organization. It sits about 0.7 miles from the Roanoke Avenue climbing area, which makes it an easy addition to a day spent climbing in this part of the region. The boulder itself offers five bouldering routes, all rated between V0- and V2-3 on the V scale. The routes include Seal Slab (V0-), Seaside Slab (V0), Seaside Arete (V1), Turtle Head (V1-2) and Turd Bird (V2-3), so climbers can choose a problem that suits their strength and experience. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the sweet spots. Typical averages from the nearby Riverhead Rsch Farm weather station run to highs around 70°F in May and 76°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. Other climbing areas within a short drive include Baiting Hollow/Riverhead Area, about 3.9 miles away, and Edwards Avenue, about 4.6 miles away. For a walk, the Maritime Forest Trail lies about 4.6 miles off, and Toppings Path is about 6.2 miles away.
