W Trail - Circolara is a short, easy mountain biking route in the Town of Yorktown Parkland, on city-managed land in New York. The trail is an out-and-back that covers about 0.46 miles, with a low point of 566 feet and a high of 600 feet. The climb is flat, and the total gain and loss are each about 36 feet, so it's a gentle ride that works well as a quick stop or a warm-up before heading to other trails in the area. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Shrub Oak show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 75°F, with lows in the 40s and 50s. Several other trails sit about 0.1 mile away, including the O Trail for hiking and the R Trail and G Trail for more mountain biking. Climbers can find Rocky Glen Pond and Blue Mountain Park about 5.7 miles off.
