Old Croton Aqueduct Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in Old Croton Aqueduct State Historic Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is an out-and-back that covers about a mile, with the high point at 156 feet and the low at 143 feet. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 0.38 miles in, rising roughly 4 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Dobbs Ferry-Ardsley weather station show May highs around 73°F and September highs around 77°F, with July peaking near 86°F. V.E. Macy Park, a climbing area, sits about a mile away, and the Red Loop and Yellow Trail hikes are within about a mile and a half. Tallman Mountain, another climbing area, is about 2.8 miles off.
