North Access

North Access is a short, moderate mountain biking route in New York, about 1.2 miles from the town of Glen Haven. The ride is an out-and-back of roughly 0.36 miles, with a steady climb of about 39 feet one way and a total round-trip gain of about 75 feet. The high point is around 393 feet, and the steepest stretch comes early on, at about 3% grade. The most comfortable months for riding are late spring through early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Rochester show June highs around 78°F and September highs around 74°F, with snow days common from December through March. Several other mountain biking routes sit close by, including K11, K10 and Outer Ring, each about 0.4 miles away. The Blue Trail hike is about 0.6 miles off.
