Humber CX is a short mountain biking ride in New York, set on a flat, nearly level route that makes for an easy outing. The trail is only about 0.3 miles long, and the entire trip climbs just 22 feet to a high point of 306 feet before returning to the low point of 291 feet. It works well as a quick stop, and the flat profile means there is little in the way of steep terrain to contend with. The most comfortable months for riding are typically June through September. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 83°F with lows near 62°F, while September cools to highs in the mid-70s. The station sits at nearly the same elevation as the trail, so those figures apply to the area as a whole. Several other biking spots sit right alongside this route. Queensway-Humber Access and Humber Woods are each about 0.1 mile away, and Humber CX Run Up is about 0.3 mile off. For a change of pace, the Waterfront Recreational Trail is about 2.4 miles away.
