Modoc Mine Road is a bouldering area in the Organ Mountains Wilderness of southern New Mexico, within the Bureau of Land Management's Las Cruces District Office. It sits among the wilderness's network of trails and climbing spots, with several bouldering routes and hiking paths within a short distance. The climbing here is all bouldering, with six routes graded from V1+ to V5. The most straightforward options are Utter Left at V1+ and Bush Bull at V2, while Buffamoo Pie is the hardest at V5. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 77°F in April and October to about 86°F in September, while summer highs climb into the mid-90s. Other climbing areas close by include Shady Side and Sunny Side, both about 0.8 miles away. For a hike, Lower Organ Needle Trail is 0.6 miles off. Aguirre Spring Recreation Area and Campground is about 2.4 miles away.
