Far Side Right is a sport climbing area in the Sacramento Ranger District of Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with Shady Side, Shady Side Left and Mid-Town all about 0.1 mile away. The area has six sport routes, with grades ranging from 5.9 to 5.12b. The easiest are Runaway Truck and Sweet Christine at 5.9, and the hardest is The Dihedral at 5.12b, first climbed by John Hymer. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mtn Park show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 66°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 10 each month.
