It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Cragacito about 0.1 mile away and Monster Wall and Upper East Fork (UEF) each about 0.2 mile off. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Los Alamos show July highs around 74°F with lows near 45°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s.
